Mr. Srikanth Shastri |
Mr.Shastri has over 25 years of wide ranging experience in the IT industry in the field of Project /Program Management, Process Management, People Management, Project Delivery Management (onsite/offsite model), and implementing business technology solutions across the globe. Mr. Shastri has extensive experience in Project and Program management and has worked across all software engineering disciplines. He has handled several large projects in critical domains and has excelled in the areas of estimation and risk management. From delivery Shastri transitioned to a role of process and quality management. As Head of Business Excellence Unit for Applications Delivery he successfully led EDS through a CMMI L5 appraisal and two ISO Certification Audits without any findings. Shastri was involved in piloting of eSCM model for EDS India and got certified as authorized evaluator for eScourcing Capability Model (eSCM). Besides this Shastri is a Certified Quality Analyst and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. A brief career profile of Shastri: Has been with EDS/MphasiS for 6 years and has played key leadership roles starting from Performance and Productivity Improvement Leader, Head of Business Excellence Unit for Applications Delivery and ITO, and Head - Delivery Assurance & Knowledge Management. Prior to this, he was Heading Corporate Quality at Polaris In Citicorp Overseas Software Ltd - COSL (between 1992 and 2003) he played several delivery and account management leadership roles managing Citgroup systems in the area of Cash Management, Credit Risk Management and US Residential Lending and Mortgage Systems Before joining COSL, Shastri worked in the US for a year with Computer Information Technology Corporation for the development of a code generator (MARK IV/MARK V to COBOL II). Before that Shastri was with Tata Consultancy Services India for about 8 years.
