Overview

It is observed that there is a gap between academics and IT industry needs. There are numerous professional colleges turning out hundreds of professionals in various IT streams. These professionals are not “ready to serve” the IT and its allied industries. There are many statistical data available which conclude that the industries need to train these professionals to meet their requirements. In other words there is a wide gap between what academic institution produces and the exact requirement of the IT industries.

This gap can be minimized by providing extensive training to these freshers in various areas like technical, language, inter personal skill, culture etc., Such a detailed training is possible only by large organization who has capacity & strength of infrastructure, manpower, and time. There are many organizations that are unable to cope up & concentrate in these areas as other issues take high priorities.

In western countries such gap is being narrowed by the concept of “Finishing School”.

In India many academic and private institutions are making use of this concept but they are all very short in duration and not holistic. Infycareer is a private Ltd company registered under Indian Companies Act 1956.
